OLE Error Using Bitmaps From A General Field

I am using a general field to store images of boxes, when a client selects a particular box type the image is displayed on the screen. This works fine on most machines but for some reason a couple of users are reporting a OLE error and the image does not appear. All the clients machine are identical so it is not a hardware error.

Can anybody help ???

check what program is the registered application for the filetype of your images. It needs to be an OLE server (paintshop pro is a good choice).

IE5 has a habit of registering itself as the registered app for JPEG and GIF files and it isn't an OLE server.
