OLE error 80040E14 on install

Hi all
I'm getting the above error when trying to install an application over SQL, its SQL 2000 server, MDAC 2.6 ,trying to make sense of some of the posts on microsoft Kb but to be honest not getting anywhere fast
Any ideas ??

HI there

Could be that MDAC2.6 does not like SQL2K or vice Versa. I used 2.5 and it installed just fine. If your app can do without 2.6 it it's worth a shot.
