we have a cust that is running which looks like a 1.4 last bkup was 2003 , now they want to move everything to a new pc , my question is can I go from a 1.4 to a 3.0 whith out any issues , they have no software or am I looking for trouble here

What handsets do they have? I believe 1.4 would allow 4400 phones to work and 3.0 and higher will only work with the 4406 and higher 4400 series models.

Why stop at 3.0? Do you have any DT phones? If not, go to 3.2...

So long as you use the intermediate builds you will be ok
