old flash unit will not pick up line 1

I have an old 824 with DR5 and after 10 plus years the old voice mail modle B has crashed. I installed a used 4 port flash unit and I have one problem, I cant get the AA to answer line 1. I have moved line 1 to line 3 and the AA pick up the call. I also moved line 3 to line 1 and the aa will not pick up the call.

The programming for the 824 and the flash are the same for lines 1,2 and 3.

do you have the aa programmed for 0 rings or multiple rings?
did you power cycle the voicemail when it wouldn't answer for you on line 1?

When terminated to port 201, does the line ring in ok through the system? Could be a bad line port, even if you can call out.

Try programming the line1 to ring at a few sets, and see if it works outside of the voicemail.

Do you have another ksu to try the flash on.
It would be nice to determine whether it is the ksu or the flash that is giving you trouble. My guess would be the ksu.
unless you are using all 8 lines it doesn't really matter, which trunks you use, just program lines 2,3,& 4. instead of 1,2,& 3
... to me it still sounds like a programming issue.
