Hello everyone!

We´re switching to an IP-office with a new Avaya Dect-system.
I´ve tested several old phones (Ericsson DT590, DT690, Ascom 9D24, D62), no problems.
But with the Ericsson DT412 I can't get any subscrition, it just fails, tested several devices with the same result.

Is there a way to make it work or should I just forget about it?

Per,
As I can recall Ericsson DT412/Ascom 9D24 are more or less the same phones, but I think that Ericsson has a custom firmware.
These are really old bones, came off a MD110?

Depending on how many handsets you have, consider buying the ruggedized Avaya (if you need it to be equivalent to the DT412).

Kind regards

Gunnar

Yes I know its old - really old! :)

It's from a BP250 system.
I dont't have that many, only 3-4 so it's no disaster but I think they should be able to work.

I noticed on this phones that the IPEI/IPDI nr are different, in every other phone I seen this is always the same.

So before you figure it out, phones will be collected by a museum....
BTW, you linked back to this thread, amusing:) Found the thread you probably wanted to link to, and I see you have been warned plenty.

I'd buy 4 x IP 3720 or 3725, they are quite good.

Kind regards

Gunnar

Yes I saw that it came in a link to this thread, no idea how that happen?

3725 its gonna be, I don't buy any new device without bluetooth.

Beginning to be a little bit nervous now, tomorrow at 13.00 we´re going live with the IP-Office!

Just out of curiosity, is this a Nordic location?

Kind regards

Gunnar

Yes, it's Swedish!

(Misstänker på ditt namn Gunnar att det är likadant hos dig?)

Ooh ohh a scandinavian invasion :)

BAZINGA!

I'm not insane, my mother had me tested!

Inte svensk nej, norrbaggar...

Kunn några få timmar igjen nu, så lycka till! Går det åt helvete, så är jag her for moralskt stöd.
(for the non-scandi, just wishing him good luck on the implementation today)

Peter, hardly an invasion, we are two against the Dutch armada:)

Kind regards

Gunnar

Now were live!

Went very well I think, of course some errors but just small ones.
Except when my consultant tried to upgrade the dect-system to the latest version, the upgrade went very well, but after tha upgrade I coulndn't register any handset, so we did a downgrade and then it worked again.

I kind of knew that:)
You even removed us from the map on your coins...Which makes Sweden look like a dick and Finland the balls :)
(go grab a € now)

Kind regards

Gunnar
