Old Emails - New Blackberry

Hi All,

I have a staff member who has recently received a new blackberry 8700. He is wondering if it possible to get all of the emails that he has on exchange server at the moment and synch them with his blackberry so that he has them on the device, rather than only getting the new ones that are delivered.

Hopefully this makes sense, but will clarify if required.

You need to set the pre-population on the server to back date messages. There are limits to how many days you can go back and how many messages you can pre populate. Look on the Blackberry Server Properties, Pre-Population tab. Otherwise it's sending them yourselve!

Can't get all messages on the eschange server onto the new handheld (other than the pre-pop settings mentioned above).
You can do a backup and restore from the previous handheld to restore the message database from the old HH
