When we have to reboot our exchange 2000 server we get some old emails back into our inboxes. If I look at the SMTP connector before the reboot I see nothing in the queues. When I reboot exchange we began to get old messages and the Internet Mail Service (SMTP Connector) has a bunch of retry messages. How can I make sure this doesn't happen again. Please in the public are even receiving emails that we have already sent and they have received.

thanks,
Jerry

The problem is something a friend of mine had in his company.
The solved it by running eseutil.

The problem shoud be the DB file and by running this they solved the problem and no old mail returned.

Information on how to use eseutil :

It is important that you are carefull with this and use the KB guidelines
