I copied my dBase Plus files from my old XP computer to my new XP computer. I copied the WFM and WFO files. When I double click on a WFM file in the navigator to run it, it opens and operates, but some of the entryfields near the bottom of the form have been moved up several inches. This also appears this way when I switch to design view. What's wrong?

It seems you need to set command windws properies.
Try
Start->Run->command
Then DOS command screen right click on window upper bar and check what's written in properties.
