We have a DB that is several years old but we need to get into; apparently resided at least partially on an old workstation - no longer in existence. When trying to get into the tables it launches MS-Access and tries - but throws an "ODBC-connection to 'Visual FoxPro Tables' failed." FoxPro is not currently loaded on any of our operational desktops (though I think we have a copy somewhere).

Not being a talented programmer, is there some reasonable way to get into the tables -- there are no DSNs set up right now on this machine. If we could figure out what it was trying to link to, maybe an outside chance we could correct it.

Thanks for any help.

Sounds like you may have some linked tables to a Fox Pro app/db.

Hold your shift key down when opening the backend and then use LINKED TABLE MANAGER to view what each table is linked to for any linked tables.
