ok i got the f2s site..i went and downloaded a ftp.. now i'm am more confused than i was when i started using flash..how do i begin to get my site up..don't quite understand the whole ftp thing.what do i do first.second.third and so on..

Scrap what's in the address bar of the browser, and type ftp.oldnewbie.f2s.com replacing oldnewbie by your username on f2s.
It's easier if you open a second browser window while reading this.

You'll end up having a message box that will ask you your username and password, type in those and check remember password.

A new page will open and you'll see a folder with your username. Double click the folder... new page with probably a Welcome.html, that's the default index page.
Bookmark this page so that next time you want to do something you end up here immediately!

something about turn off front page extensions?..ok i get to the log in page..done that..now i'm at --home:virt2001--..has a contact link,database,password,website,e-mail,q&a,toolbox....what from here?????

No http or www!

Just click on your link and it brought me directly where I want you to be with the message box.
Try doing the same...

If there is, double click it than you should see the welcome html.
If you don't see any of this...
Did you register today?
or maybe you do have to visit your site(as they told you on their email) to set up this directory... And that's where you were a while ago...

Maybe you should try doing that again, if you don't see anything!
