I am running Backup Exec 8.5 Server2000 edition and i've just installed OFO, everything went fine with the install but the jobs are not backing up Open Files. They are still being skipped.

I have checked off/enabled the option in the Backup job created

I have installed the right server in the Open File Option wizard as well

Anyone know why off the top?
Any suggestions?

Thanks in advance

Could you post the log file - so we can have a better look?

This is the bottom of the log file, I hope you can make sense out of this as i'm having trouble

Thanks

First of all - whenever you are backing up a remote server you should install the remote agent (it doesnt look like you have it installed here)

Secondly - you have a problem with your tape device, check the system/application event logs for any errors.

Id still like to see the whole log.

If you like you can email it to me -
