Have 4 computers in workgroup setup connected via a residential router,. One is acting as the file repository, and is shared on network. All computers are XP Pro and set to use offline files (syncrhonizing on logon/loggof).
problem is 2 of the computers keep disconnecting/working offline. All 3 "workstations" are the same machine, and cabling is good (plus, works when swapped with the working machine). Also, when disconnected from the network, takes forver for computer to realize it should work offline; in MST office, computer hangs for 5+ minutes before even trying to save.
Any ideas anyone?

Will have to double check, but almost sure that the answer is a no. Only file types that should be in those folders are PDF, DOC, and XLS.

The hang also happens when you open a file while working offline (which the machine seems to keep kicking into even though connection is fine).

Very weird...hopefully someone has gone through this before and has an answer...thing is driving me nuts :)
