I cannot clear a paper jam error in order to get the d145 to operate in any way. There are no paper jams and I have disassembled both the upper (fax/copy) paper path and the primary path and there are no obstructions.
I have power cycled the unit and performed a semi-full reset several times. I have removed the battery for about an hour to no avail. The really weird thing is I had a paper jam, cleared it and printed at least 50 more pages before the error came back without a jam.
HP is unable to remedy the problem and offered me some discounted refurbished upgrades. I know that I could probably buy another unit for what it would cost to send it out. I'm just thinking there's a quick fix somewhere that HP won't tell me about, and I'm not thinking of. Any Help out there on this???? Running XP Pro if it matters
