Office XP

Another question here. I installed Office XP,entered the 25 didgit product key code and every thing was ok. When I go to activate,it says that this number has already been used. I talked to my manager and I used the single license code instead of multiple license. How do I enter a different key without uninstalling and reinstalling Office XP? Thanks

the more difficult way would be to access an inf file or Office system file, but you may need a special program for that or it may accept a hex editor. as to the exact whereabout, i don't know. i suggest simply reinstalling Office XP because it doesn't take that long to reinstall. Simply back up your needed files and reinstall. the time you take to attempt to figure out how to edit the Office registry files will certainly surpass the time needed to simply uninstall and reinstall.
