Office XP Problems

I am having probems w/ Office XP creating a capture window (about 1.5"h x 6" w) randomly on the screen. It happens when I open another window & then return to the word or excel window. I have installed all the service patches and updates.

Any help or clues would be greatly appreciated

If you mean an image hangs there from a previous window...

An image stays in the same place. It goes away after I close out all office programs.
