I want to upgrade from Office Pro 97 to Office XP Pro. Three questions: Can I continue to use Windows 98 se as my operating system? Are they compatible? and should I uninstall Office 97 before installing Office XP?

You must install to a different directory than default if you want to keep both. I used C:\OfficeXP as my Office XP install directory.

When you run Word and Access for either version AFTER running the OTHER version, you'll get a little bit of an installation thing when you start them up. It is completely safe to cancel out of them.

Other than that, you may get some error about licensing with Access 97, but just ask, and we'll tell ya how to fix that.
