I am currently migrating our office to XP from 2000. I am unable to do this through group policy because for some reason the install seems to corrupt Access 97, After XP finishes installing and you try to open up Access 97 you get an error message that there is no license to run 97, We use Access 97 for all our databases and XP for everything else. To get around this first I uninstall 97 then rename the HATTEN font in the system. Then I remove 2000 and install XP, once that is finished I install 97 back. but to do this machine by machine is horrible, has anyone heard of this

We have just rolled out Dell XP laptops but we still have W2K desktops, all using networked Access 97 databases. We have had to make it known that 97 databases and XP dont mix so whatever you do dont convert, so if they are a database user then they get the Access 97 fix we created and if you dont then you get Access XP. Its basically an install of Access 97 onto an XP machine with some extra files that are associated with it.
