Office XP, hangs at file->open.

When I try to do a File Open in any Office XP Application: Excel, Word, Access.

It just sits there hung up. I have to force Word, Excel, etc to close manually.

Any idea why this would be happening? One day the computer was fine, and the next morning it started to have this problem.

Yes, that worked..

And again Microsoft screws something else up while releasing a update.
