I have the strangest problem. I can open Excel. Click on a cell. When I do if I move the mouse it continues to highlight the entire worksheet. I try pressing ESC or clicking the other mouse button but it does not stop. I have to restart the computer. This is only happening in Excel. Thanks for any help.

Try pressing f8 to turn off 'Extended Selection' mode

Do you have a docking station slane? I have run across this problem before and found it very annoying. In one instance, I fixed it by removing the docking station and it worked. In another instance, a computer, not on a docking station, had the same problem so I removed Office 2000 Pro and installed Office 2000 Premium and that did the job. As far as the creation of the glitch I do not have a clue. In a third instance I just installed Office SP3 and it worked. My two recommendations are making sure the docking station is fastened securely and is working correctly and upgrading to Office service pack 3. A reinstallation of office may be helpful to. *Note-Reinstalling PS2 drivers does not work*
