Set up is WXP + Office XP.

This has been running fine for months. Last week I installed Office XP Service Pack 2.

The installation appears to have gone OK, however, now every time I open word / excel / powerpoint whatever I get a dialog require confirmation of the EULA terms.

This is extremely irritating. Can any kind soul tell me how to make this go away once and for all please.

Found the answer eventually.

Sorry to have troubled this list

You must have administrator priviledges on the local machine. MS requires an administrator to accept the agreement. Give the user admin priviledges, then accept the agreement in the MS App(s). You can then revoke the priv. back to limited user.
Hope this helps.

You have to install as administrator - thats ok but you have to through a complete reboot sequence as administrator as well.

In other words - installing and then leaving the user to go through the reboot sequence is not sufficient. The administrator must complete the reboot sequence.
