Office XP Compatabilty

We are thinking about starting to upgrade to XP here. But we have several questions related to compatability.

1) Is Office XP compatible with Office 97?
2) Is Office XP compatible with Office 95?
3) Does Office XP work on Windows 95?
4) When is MS terminating support for Windows 95 OS?

If they have info on the next version of Office after XP...
5) Do they talk about the next version of Office after XP? Will this work with Office 97?
6) Will this next version of Office (after XP) work on Windows 95 OS?

Any help would be appreciated... Mike Wills

We have started using Office XP at the office and the first thing I had to do was upgrade my home system to Windows 98. That is the lowest grade XP can use for an operating system.

We have experienced some problems with exporting files to Excel 8 Extended fromat from Crystal Reports 7.0 that has not been upgraded from CRW 6.0.

We have so far not experienced any problems with Office 97. Have not tried to upgrade from any other Office package.
