Office Update offers XP instead of 2000

One pc on a network, W98SE, Office 2000.

Windows Update offers only Office XP updates, not Office 2000.
I have never had XP on this pc.

I tried clearing the internet temp files but it didn't help.

Any ideas?

Check your Add/Remove programs section and check for a version of 2002 installed. Micro$oft is seeing it somewhere.

Thanks. I have Front Page 2002 and MapPoint 2002.

Would that cause the problem? I can't really uninstall them.

Since FrontPage is a part of Office, that would be why it is offering patches for 2002. I would just go ahead and apply patches for 2000 and 2002.
