How do I get, in Calendar View, for my Resource name to show up on the task bar as well as the main Task name.....so that i can look at the Calendar and see who is doing the work, how long and which project it belongs to.

I'm looking at Project 2010, but I think in 2007 it goes like this:

Format > bar styles
Use Fields drop-down to choose Resource names

So far so good. However, and I may have verbiage incorrect, but each of my project names, say SMITH, is outdented followed by each of the tasks that need to be done - drywall, trim, etc. How do I get the SMITH name on every bar beside each of the tasks? So it would list SMITH, drywall, 18 days, Joe Blow Drywall Inc. I just can't get the SMITH on there and have to type it manually.

Are you saying that Format > Bar Styles doesn't let you put the resource names on the Bars?

Yes it allows me to put Resource Names. I want to put which job it relates to so when looking at the calendar I can quickly see where that resource is. How can I send/show you a screen capture of what I am talking about?
Thanks for your help so far. It's great.

How do you know which job a task refers to?

The easiest way is probably to choose a text field (say Text20) and put the job name in Text20 for each task.

Finally: View > Calendar
Format > bar styles

And in the box, near the bottom, look for "fields" and choose the fields (probably Name, Text20) and click on OK.
