I have Outlook 200 running on two computers.

A Help About on one shows:
Microsoft Outlook 2000 SR-1

While the other shows
Microsoft Outlook 2000 SP-3

In the second example, does the SP-3 refer to Office service pack not an Outlook service pack?

Also
I can find the Windows version and service pack.
I can find Word, Excel etc version and service pack.
How do I show the Office version and service pack?
Is it the same as shown in Word, Excel etc?

...and your Outlook and Office SP/Sr's are going tbe different, as Outlook corresponds to Internet Explorer, not Office.

Thanks Carrr, I've certainly been there and downloaded o2ksp3.exe (Office 2000 service pack 3).

I believe that if I run o2ksp3 my outlook will then say Microsoft Outlook 2000 SP-3 not Microsoft Outlook 2000 SR-1

I know Office is simply a suite of products yet in the microsoft update pages one can see upgrades for Office service packs as well as Outlook service packs.

Is there no way to display the OFFICE version and SP/SR?

The (Office 2000 service pack 3) does change my Outlook properties to "Microsoft Outlook 2000 SP-3" from "Microsoft Outlook 2000 SR-1"

hey I am replying to this thread, cause i haven't got to grips with any other sort of replying. Basically convolution masks are a way of using filters. So instead of just being able to use the drop down menu filters, you can create your own. Photoshop can basically do it all anyway, but my question was for an assignment, so they were making us create our own.

Thanks very much for the response Jecca.

I've been playing with Photoshop for 5+ years and never heard of convolution mask.

Now I know... Thanks again

I stand corrected on the Outlook issue...learned something new.
The only way I've ever known of to determine SP/SP level for Office is by product...i.e. Help, About...

...and I still know nothing about convolution masks....

....of course, Microsoft says that this can show you:

To determine which version of Office 2000 is currently installed on your computer, please follow these steps:

In Microsoft Windows®, on the Start menu click Settings, and then click Control Panel.
Double-click Add/Remove Programs.

...and you should see the SR's listed by prog.

However, I run 98SE and I don't see this...I get prompted for my install disk...maybe it'll helpp you out, though...

Thanks Carrr

You can see the SR in w2k and not in 98se as you noted.

is it possible to have two calendars in outlook, one of the secretaries needs to keep a calendar of department vacations, but she would like her outlook calendar to remain her own, and she would like one to give permissions to for the department supervisors to log vacations as to keep from having too many people gone at the same time.... is it possible?
