I have a pc running XP Pro and Office 2003 Pro and for some reason I now cannot open media file attatchments. The error shows a Office Outlook error saying no application found. This is very irritating as I can save the file and then open fine.

I think you will find it is to do with Outlook "Security". I know I had problems when I first changed to Outlook 2003 it marks most things as "un-secure" it was Access databases that drove me up the wall.

See if anything here is of help?

Outlook cannot open a .RTF file

I have a short note from some lost link (by a Brian Tillman) that I'll include here.

"Your Outlook Secure Temp Folder is too full. With Outlook closed, click Start>Run and enter %temp% in the Open field. Click OK. A Windows Explorer window will open. In the Folder list at the left, locate Temporary Internet
Folders, which should be right below Temp. Click on the plus sign to the left of Temporary Internet Folders and locate a folder whose name stars with OLK. Right-click this folder and choose Delete. Now restart Outlook and
try again."
