Office 2003 unable to get feedback

I have created a package to upgrade Office XP to Office 2003. I have a transform file that I am using in the Custom program and there is a typical program as well. I want them both to be quiet but have a completion message at the end of the install. I have used the Typical and the Custom program with the parameters below and I have not been able to get any feedback at all during the installation. I have tried /qb /qb- /qb+ /qb! /qr. According to other people and the docs I can find I should be getting some messages but I am not. i turned on logging in the path and the file says it recognizes the switches and there are no error message in the log. Any ideas why this is not working?
