Office 2003 products hanging

We have Office 2003 on a Win 2003 Server. Sometimes, when we go to open a file or save a file, it takes about 2 mins to actually bring up the save as or open box. Has any had any problems with Office 2003?

It is possible the Anti Virus Scan is holding it up. What AV are you using?

Could it be your network? We've had this trouble while moving to a new network.

We use Norton's Corporate Edition 8.0. Although I don't think that may be it, I can't say that that isn't the problem. We have 10 PC's that are pretty much exactly the same, Office 2003, Windows XP, NAV 8.0. She is the only one having problems.

Network? No. She has this problem at home also.

If this is just one user on one PC, then I'd suspect either a corrupt User Profile or - more likely - some nasty spyware picked up from the Internet.

Check with either Adaware or SpyBot first and see if that finds the culprit.
