HI guys,

In outlook when you go to the Tools menu > options some buttons to the left can’t be fully seen. And to make it worse you can’t resize the window or scroll across. So I have to rely on my memory of what they are.

I’m having a similar problem with my “format cell” option in excel where I can’t read the bottom tabs. However the top tabs are perfectly visible.

The latest office and window fixes have been applied. I've also tried all the screen resolutions.

Has anyone seen this issue before ?

have you ran the detect and repair feature in office or tried to reinstall it?

Actually I've reinstalled for another reason and the problem persisted. As soon as I locate that CD I'll try the repair and let you know.

the reinstall and the repair didn't work.

It sounds more like an unwanted change to the Windows settings. Go to the Display Options in Windows and select a default Windows Themes and see if that resolves the dialog errors.

Thanks tf1,
I have the options windows XP, windows classic, my current themes and the option to browse for more. I tried all the themes on the machine and none of them made a difference.

There is another computer in the office with the same problem.
