Office 2000 Excel error help

Every time I open Excel or change from one sheet to another the following error is displayed, but after clicking OK many times I am still able to work. How can I get rid of this error?

SubSystem(Application Integration) method failed. The Category object doesn't exist.

That didn't do it and looking at the question closer it states a FileNet error eventhough I am using Excel?

Are you saying every excel file or one in particular?
