Off Premise Notification to pager fails using PRI
Off Premise Notification to pager works using analog lines.
Calling pager directly using PRI generates numeric page OK.
Core patches and Voicemail patches applied.
 
Do the active application DN's all have access to the PRI?
 
COS allows OPN
Mailboxes set to use route
Dialout includes destination code for PRI.
Changing mailbox to use analog line pool results in successful paging notification to numeric pager.
PRI fails to send numeric page.

I have never seen anything like this and I have this stuff should be child's play.
 
Does anyone out there have access to a working BCM 3.6 with PRI and a numeric pager?
I would like to know if this can be duplicated.
I set up a guest mailbox to outdial using route and set up off premise notification to dial pager number and notify pager using mailbox number.
 
Does the CallPilot DNs have access to the PRI?

Does it work if it is a phone instead of pager?
Does the external transfer out of a mailbox work?
 
Got it figured out.
Thanks to the help of a DMS engineer.
We were able to monitor the B channels used by CallPilot.
CallPilot pager option waits 3-4 seconds before sending numeric pager digits by this time the paging company had already stopped listening for digits.
Workaround to this is not to use "Display" option in mailbox admin but to put a single timed pause into dial string to force DTMF quicker.
 
OK and UPDATE on what I thought was fixed.

Still an issue which I beleive to be a Nortel bug.
OPN is configured for mailbox.
OPN works.
When set to destination phone then you can configure start and stop times.
Customer likes this option and wishes to use urgent delivery only option. This way he will receive notification during non delivery hours if messages are marked urgent.
BUG = OPN notification stops working when urgent only OPN is applied. Even if start and stop times are correctly applied!
This can be confirmed by using BCM Monitor client to monitor active PRI using UIP monitor.
OPN works only if you disable urgent only option.

Customer is PO'd

Will open a ticket with Nortel ha ha ha ha ha ha tech support.

I have a BCM that I never could get the OPN to work to a pager across the PRI and I never could figure it out, though it worked to a cell or landline. Thanks for the info, Aragon
