I am trying to set up off premise notification and outbound transfer on a MICS w/ 7.1 XC and a Call Pilot running 3.1. The customer has a PRI that requires 2 digit Auth codes for Long Distance prompted by a signal sent by the carrier.
OPN and outbound transfer work fine when sent out on the one back-up copper line which does not use auth codes. Additionally, the numbers being used can be dialed from a phone using the auth code without problem over the PRI. But when trying to do outbound transfer (or OPN) over the PRI you get a message from the system saying "the person you have called is not available" and are then returned to the user's mailbox greeting.
The mailboxes are enabled in programming for outdial with a route. (I have also tried using outdial with a "line" using one of the PRI channels as my "line" without success). The COS is programmed to allow outbound XFR. The Voice Mail DNs have access to the PRI.
I have tried numerous combinations of dialing strings when setting up mailboxes for OPN and Outbound Transfer using the PRI. In general termns these start with 9 (for which I have a route built using the PRI) then 1 and the number followed by one or more (I've tried up to 5) pauses, then the auth code inserted as "digits". I have also tried inserting pauses, then a # or a * before the auth code along with every other combination I can think of. Nothing has worked. If anyone has any suggestions it would be greatly appreciated? Thanks.
