Off Hook Symbol is Transparent and Cant hang up Line

This is a newbie question. Somehow the off hook indicator (M3904) is showing the extension is offhook, but i dont know how to hang it up. It is not the solid symbol that is normally used but is clear (just an outline of the phone). I have no idea what this means.

Have you tried unplugging the phone or just disabling and renabling the tn?

its fixed now, yes, the phone and TN were reset but this didnt fix the problem. I will find out what that symbol means later.

I thought (guessing from old memory...) that meant it was off hook at another location. Was the DN located on more then one phone?

red17 got it, if you have appearances on different phones when the other phone is using the extension a 3904 will show the outline of the phone on the not in use phone.
