I created a phone 2433 as H323 and set it up as COS 14

I’ve changed “off hook alert” to yes in COS 14 group.

I’ve changed the “time off hook and Emergency Extension” in system parameter features
time before off hook alert -> 1
Emergency Access Redirection Extension -> 2468

I’m currently using my SIP extension 2468 as the redirect test station….so I don’t have to walk 2 minutes to get to H2323 station 2433 every time to lift the receiver to automatically call 2468…

any help in this would be appreciated.

thanks in advance.

Yes my appologies that is correct it is not working. For some reason when I take 2433 off-hook it doesn't automatically call 2468.
I'm getting dialtone when it should ring 2468

Can you post a list trace of the station? Be sure to leave it off for a full minute before terminating this trace (since we are waiting on timers).

Be sure to paste the list trace of the station into the

off-hook alerting is for hospital patient phone. When a patient cannot dial, but can knock the handset out of the cradle.

I think what you are looking for is Hotline feature. Go off-hook and it dials a certain destination. This uses abbreviated dial
list entry HOT LINE DESTINATION

First of all I apologize for the tardiness of my response.

This is for employee medical center emergencies as well as for multiple entrance issues into the building so the patient phone scenario setup is what I need.

everything works now I've changed the Emergency Access Redirection Extension -> from my test station 2468 to security 5555

There are still two issues in which I am having issues with though.

1. The time from going off hook to dial 5555 is about 8 seconds.
2, Can H323 stations be setup as multiple stations like they can be in SIP? i.e. (Max Simultaneous Devices)

appreciate the help.

1>Check your interdigit timeout, is that set to 7 seconds? or something close?

2>No they can't

It's set to 3 and can't go any lower.

Thanks for the H323 info...
