%of Trunk in use????

Hi. Does anyone know of a command that lets you see how many members of a trunk group have been used in the day?
I can do a list measurements lightly-used-trunk yesterday command but that doesn't show the trunks I am most interested in. I know I can do a status of the trunks during the peak hour but I thought as long as the PBX was going through the trouble of collecting the data, there may be a way to mine it out??
Our call center is expecting to add a new contract with an increase number of calls /day and I'd like to make sure I have enough DS1 lines.

The Definity selects trunks in a clock-like manner, stepping through the trunk group sequentially. That way each member should carry an equal amount of traffic. If you have access to ASA you can set up the Trunk Group Analyzer to collect trunk group information and use the integrated traffic tables to recommend the number of trunks required (plus or minus).

I have to disagree with 4merAvaya, the Definity has a number of ways to hunt for trunks and is not always the deciding factor.

With your issue involving a call center, chances are the that the trunks that you are looking for are inbound trunks, if this is the case, the Definity has nothing to do with the order the trunks that the call comes in on. Inbound calls come in on the trunk that the CO sends the call on, the exact way that this is done is generally agreed upon when you order the service. The options are useually something along the lines of ascending (hunt from the lowest number), desending hunt from the highest number), cyclical (starting with the first trunk, use each one time, in order and start again at the first).

Where trunks are used for two-way communication, quite often the CO will be set to hunt ascending and the definity to hunt desending, this will keep the CO and the Definity from trying to grab the same trunk at the same time.

In my opinion, it is always better to use ascending for inbound trunks, it makes life easier when it comes to traffic calculations.

I do not have CMS only bcms. I do have ASA. I have 8 T lines. They are split into two seperate trunk groups from the telco network, one with 6T and the other with 2T. Each trunk group has call center calls coming into it depending on the ANI. In the pbx I had to split the 6T group in to two trunks one with 4T and the other with 2T, they are set to go ascending while my outbound is decending starting with the last channel of the 2T group.

I can do the list meas trunk sum command but that doesn't show utilization the way I need to see it. I am unsure how many channels are being used during peak call times which is what I am looking for.
