OEM computer service work...who do I talk to? 2

Im interested in doing service work for some or one of the big computer OEM vendors , such as DELL. Has anyone done this? How can I get to the right contacts to move this? Im hoping to do this to supplement other things I do within my business, and I enjoy fixin'. I do have the right certs for the industry. Thanks!

Most of the big companies have a jobs section on the website ..... have a look there or drop a CV/Resume to the HR dept.
Also look out for local recruitment fairs ... both DELL and Intel use them to recruit.

In my experience it is difficult to be an oem depot center. Though you are on the right track with certs/credentials. I found that most of them require you sell no other types of computers other than theirs and in a few cases they also required you fix no one elses computers than theirs.

I found the best way to get OEM contract service work is to contact larger places that already do it and register with them to receive the service calls. It has worked well for my company. For instance, Best Buy obviously repairs and services the oem computers they sell...but they lack field technicians. So, for a decent price we take their service contracts in our area. Home Shopping Network is also anoter good one. Comp USA as well.

Yeah thats exactly it. I think it can be a good supplemental action for me to take right now as im getting my business in gear.
