I've been fighting this all morning, hopefully you can see something i'm missing. I'm trying to setup a 2616 to HUNT and FDN to an ACD which points at voicemail. Regardless of what I do, when the phone is called it goes to VM but not the mailbox of the ACD like it should. It goes to the mailbox associated with the phone. If i remove the mailbox from VM, the phone still goes to the generic VM "if you have a mailbox on this system..." prompt instead of following the ACD path. I setup this same thing on another PBX (61c) and it works flawlessly. Is there a global setting that controls forwards to a certain number? I even built a new phone from scratch and pointed it at the ACD to VM and no go. You can call the ACD directly and it goes to the correct mailbox and plays back my callers menu as it should. I just can't HUNT or FDN to it. any thoughts? I've got CLS set for CFXA, HTA, FNA, MWA, SFA....

an unanswered call will always revert to the mailbox of the originally dialed number. Do you have message center turned on in the ACDN?

i'm not familiar with that option. at my other sites i can send calls to an ACD which points at the VM system with a corresponding mailbox number (that matches the ACD) and it works fine. Its just this one site that its not working at. Where would I turn on "message center" in the PBX?

ld 23 on the acdn you built. is this for after hours, or when the set is unattended?

just for when its unattended. I'm building the ACDs in LD 23 and just setting the MAXP to 1 and the NCFW to the voicemail DN.

I'd try using a Phantom instead of an ACD. In the case of FDN, you are able to toggle what mailbox picks up. Give the phantom, SFA

Not positive but it's worth a try.

Thanks, I'll give it a shot and if it doesn't work i'm ready to scrap the idea entirely and propose a less complicated solution to the user, this has taken far too much of my time ) Thanks again!

I believe bigindian65 is correct. I've always had to answer Yes to the MWC prompt of the queue in order to Forward to it.

So I was all prepped to add a Phantom instead of an ACD, and found there is no phantom superloop.

From the info above, can I even add one? I've only got 2 superloops defined, and none of them are N loops. There alot of posts about this but i'm not sure I understand how to determine if I can configure one.

you can add one pretty easy, add it to supl in ld 97 make loop 96 put an n in front of it, and you will have a phantom loop.
