Hi,

I have a verison of OFFice XP Small Business SP3 running on a Windows XP Pro SP2 PC and are not being able to get a ODBC Connection with the Visual Fox Pro 8 table that contains the data.

We aretrying to do Mail merge and it will not create the link between the Word Doc and the table ....

Any ideas gratefully received ....

regards

Murray

Hi,

Did you ADD and CONFIGURE the FoxPro ODBC driver in the Control Panel?

How far into the Connection Process (from Word) can the user get?

Can you see the TABLES in the Fox Pro database?

Can you see data from the selected table in the Query Grid in MS Query?

Is there a criteria that is filtering ALL data?

I cannot connect to the Foxpro table at all and cannot see the table or the fields.....

There is no criteria filtering the table.

MS Query is not installed on any pc's at our site.

MS Query is built-in for Word/Excel.

When you START...

Tools/Mail Merge.../Get Data/OPEN DATA SOURCE/[MS QUERY]...

Hi

I have tried all versions of the ODBC Software and we have identical versions of the ODBC now installed and they match another pc in the company where ODBC works succesfully.

Am at a loss as to what to try.

Is it possibly a issue with SP2 and Office XP small business ?????

Any more help is appreciated

regards

Murray
