ODBC error with MS-Access 97

Hi there,

I try to connect to a MySQL database via MS Access 97 and an ODBC connection. I have installed the latest versions (including MDAC and Jet) but I can't get it to work, because I get in Access the following error:
Reserved error (-7778), there is no message for this error.

OS: WinNT 4 SP6a
MySQL: 3.23.27
ODBC: MySQL ODBC 3.51
ODBC Test Data Source works fine.

Who can help?

Been getting the same errors myself. I recommend using the stable MyODBC (2.50) rather than the new one.

Yes, that's the answer. After installing 2.5 everything works fine.
