i use win 2000 server with IIS
in my asp scripts use MS Access as a DB
connection works fine when DB is not openned manually in Access
when i open it in Access, asp file returns this error in the browser
Microsoft][ODBC Microsoft Access Driver] Could not use '(unknown)'; file already in use.

it works back normal as soon as I close DB in Access

Properties of mdb file:
admin, IUSR, everyone, system - all have read, write, exec permissions

thanks for advices

sorry did not catch your English

i do use mdb's on other win2k servers
never faced above mentioned ODBC problem in a browser while openning mdb manually in MS Access

my problem is - inabily of ODBC connection (web site) during simulteneous manual work with mdb in MS Access

regarding forum - this is IIS related issue, so I don't think I am very wrong posting a msg here

thx

in addition to the previous post
i am openning msb in Access not exclusively - in a usual shared mode

Read the forum, If you find hundreds of other threads about Access or ASP or ODBC then it could be the correct forum, but as you won't, the ASP forum333 would be better.
