As you've noticed, there's not a lot of answers on this forum for SQL Anywhere questions. I'm surprised that SQL Anywhere doesn't come with its own ODBC drivers. You might consider upgrading (it's probably a lot less than buying a 3rd party driver).
For more details, you might try posting to the Sybase forum on SQL Anywhere studio.
The Sybase product to upgrade to is now called SQL Anywhere Studio, I think. You should be able to find out if it comes with an ODBC driver just by checking out the manuals (all Sybase docs are on line).
