What ODBC drivers are available for SQL Anywhere 5.5 database on NT Server? Has anyone tried Data Direct?

As you've noticed, there's not a lot of answers on this forum for SQL Anywhere questions. I'm surprised that SQL Anywhere doesn't come with its own ODBC drivers. You might consider upgrading (it's probably a lot less than buying a 3rd party driver).

For more details, you might try posting to the Sybase forum on SQL Anywhere studio.

J M,

Thanks. What Sybase product would you upgrade to? What is the exact name of the forum I shold post on? I don't see one just called Sybase in Tek Tips.

The Sybase product to upgrade to is now called SQL Anywhere Studio, I think. You should be able to find out if it comes with an ODBC driver just by checking out the manuals (all Sybase docs are on line).

Try this link for the manuals on SQL Anywhere (they apparently have them back to 6.0 on line so you might even find what you need there):

RE the forums I'm suggesting are on the Sybase site. Try this link:

Best of luck! (I keep meaning to get more experience with SQL Anywhere, but never have the time...)
