is this possible?
if so, how do I accomplish this?

ODBC is, theoretically, platform independent, so MAS 90 being "Windows only" shouldn't necessarily matter. That being said you do need a native ODBC driver for the database type you are trying to connect. To my knowledge there are no MacOS X specific drivers.

It's a long shot, but you can try using the ProvideX Linux ODBC drivers (I recommend the 3.33.1 version for the MAS 90 version you are trying to connect to):

Or the SCO and AIX UNIX drivers

Maybe (and it's a big one) they are compatible enough with the OS X kernel to work for you.

Good luck!

Oops, sorry, MAS 200. All of my previous post still applies if it's the standard MAS 200 version.

If it's the SQL Server version of MAS 200 you might be able to do some other stuff as well using a SQL Server ODBC driver or JDBC driver, but I've never used it so I don't know what kind of junk Sage did to the DB to lock it down. If ACT is any indication then they try to keep anything not written by Sage away.

thanks. not sure how the Linux would work on MAC?

FoxPro is the db on MAC.

Yikes, how old is that Mac? Version 8? If it is not MacOS X then there is nothing that can be done unless you somehow get your hands on a copy of A/UX ( but you have a whole mess of things to work out after that point. Cheaper to just buy a junk PC by that point.

no, it's the new Mac OS X
intel duo, etc ... (i know they can "boot" into a Windows OS) but that does not help them in staying on Mac OS and use the Mac database.
