I am having trouble getting my IBM Universe ODBC data accessed in Crystal versions 9 and 10. Any thoughts?

Thank you.

Post what the issue is, such as no tables show, or you get an error, or...

Hi,
That means that something in what you 'asked' for did not exist..

Check your connection ( use the 'test connection' option in th DSN configuration tool), your username/password, etc..

This can mean many things, including that there wasn't an understandable dataset returned.

This should also only occur after having tried to open a specific table, view or SP. Perhaps you can take the time to post the specifics, as previously requested.

Such as:

"When I try to open a table, I get the error: blah...", or whatever the circumstances are.

Make sure that you've tried numerous tables, and then if you can, try linking (not importing) the same table into
MS Access or some other 3rd party tool and see how it reacts.

It imports into Access fine.

Universe/SQL Syntax error, Unexpected File name is the jist of the message.

Thanks for your suggestions, but it didn't work. I am thinking the problem is in the data, as I have tried it in three versions of Crystal now.

Any other thoughts?
