One of my Option11 is currently dying. (His doughterboard is dead).
No Back-up, no PCD or anything else.
So, I started to build up a new CPU according to it.
But the issue is, neither I nor the local market have an octopus cable (In North Cyprus).
So, as instructed here, I have tried to make a new one.

The problem I have is after the NULL Modem, how to connect wires?
I google'd DB25 to DB9. Is it correct way to do it? I only want to have TTY0.

9 way to 25 way cable pinouts

Use for laptop com port to switch TTY (and null modem for option 11)

There is a backup on the SSC if you still have it. Install new software on the software db and when you select database during the install choose basic. After the system comes up the 1st time log in with ADMIN2 and pwd=0000
ld 143---UPGRADE
pick utilities and then restore from flash

Here is my drives. They are literally don't answer on any request.
Code:
>LD 43
EDD000

.DAT
DATABASE ISSUE DATE(d/m/y)/TIME SIZE(recs) SEQNO
Main [COLOR=#A40000]database not accessible.[/color]
Secondary [COLOR=#A40000]database not accessible.[/color]
IntBackup 400T 14/02/[COLOR=#A40000]2014[/color] at 01:00:34 70 1126
PCMCIA database not accessible.
Current external backup is on PCMCIA drive B

.
EDD000

Actually main issue is, I am a software developer and never deal with such cable configuration before, and didn't understand the logic behind it.
So, Please answer, am I right?

Hello Hasan

It looks as if your daughterboard with the release 04.00 software is corrupted. The easiest way to check this is to try to log into "pdt". I can't give out passwords here, but once you log in, key in e.g. cd c:/u/db "enter" and then ll "enter". If you see any errors such as unable to access c etc, then this proves that you need to format and reload the software via a compatible PCMCIA card as shown in the guide I did.

Can you post us what you get please?.

The most important thing is to download a copy of the backup file via "pdt".

Cannot access to pdt. One expert come to help, but even he says, “40 years of exprience, but I never saw sth like this. It is a miracle that it is still working”, oh and also, licence was missing that day too. So he can’t build a new one. (Actually he defines everything on a new ssc but unable to define PRI cards. I dont know the details.
So, I am ready to create same configuration from scratch. But I am not even able to connect it yet...
Please tell me about the cable configuration.

OK Hasan

Can you log into the system?. I'm assuming that you can?. Please read my attached Option 11c backup guide as you might be able to backup the configuration onto your laptop as the backup file is present.

The problem was, the second cable, I only soldered the red ones. Now, with all soldered it works. I have connected to SDI Port-0 and loaded a former back-up file to the new CPU. Since it is out-dated, I begin to write current configurations on it. It nearly ends. OH god, I am so happy right now! Thanks!

If you are able to log into the system then go to LD 22 and print ISS, ISSP, TID and SLT etc. Also go into LD 143 and key in upgrade followed by Utilities to look for the summary menu where you can obtain the feature set etc. This will in effect give you all the keycode details that are needed if a full install is ever done.

I have successfully replaced old SSC with new one, and here is the new back-up files:
Code:
>LD 43
EDD000

.DAT
DATABASE ISSUE DATE(d/m/y)/TIME SIZE(recs) SEQNO
Main 400T 10/05/2019 at 10:20:04 72 1146
Secondary 400T 10/05/2019 at 01:00:32 72 1145
IntBackup 400T 10/05/2019 at 10:20:04 72 1146
PCMCIA database not accessible.
Current external backup is on PCMCIA drive B

.
EDD000

.
TEMU020 Errno 0x380003: Failure opening file b:/u/db/config.rec

TEMU020 Errno 0x380003: Failure opening file b:/u/db/database.rec

So, I have a healthy backup files on drives now. But now, I have another issue.

The problem is, When I do XBK in LD 143, it says:

Code:
>LD 143
CCBR000
.XBK
INFO: MAGUSA-10052019
SIZE = 126464 bytes  [COLOR=#204A87][This was about 1.000.000 (Million) bytes][/color]

R>OK.

CCBR000

So, What is the problem here? And is this back-up file ok or not?

If you do an XVR you can send the XBK file back to the system and it will check the downloaded XBK matches.

>LD 143
CCBR000
.XVR

Code:
>LD 143
CCBR000
.XVR

R>CCOK. (This is current back-up file - about 120KB)

CCBR000
.XVR

R>CCBKP002 Backup image differs from internal backup.**** ([COLOR=#A40000]this is old backup file[/color] - about 1MB)
>

So, it tells it is OK. Should I trust? It is nearly 0.1 x in size...
