Does anyone know how to read the Octel Status log. I am having trouble with integration errors and I am trying to figure the following out.

I think there is a port that is used for MWI or outcalling that is going off hook, but fails to detect dial tone.

14 Failed to get inband dial tone.

it is port 3d or 4d depending on if it is a 250 or a 350

It is an Octel 250 v2 and I am integrating it with an Avaya S8500

then it is port 3D that is not getting dial tone.

I checked the port on the Avaya side and the dial tone is there - was able to place and receive calls from the port. Took the cross connect wire off and the Octel still stayed busy. Could not busy out and release. Could there be an issue with the CPU?

I think it may be the flt card at this point.

Is this something that has been reported as an error or are they just showing in the log ? If it cant get dial tone the first try it will continue to try until it can or the retry expires.

It can mean that the port is overloaded and it is going off hook faster than it should of that the PBX is not able to keep up with the off hook requests.
