I need to print out mailboxes by class of service. The documentation does not detail how to do this. Any ideas or suggestions on how to do this. I am installing a new voice mail system and as I go into the Octel under the change class of service profile I can see mailbox classes and the number of mailboxes programmed per that class of service. I would like to have a CSV file that has the mailbox number by class of service.

Thanks in advance

Hi Benjamin

What type of OCTEL system do you have?
OCTEL Serenade 200/300 or OCTEL 250/350...or..

///doktor

Aria 250/350

You can use Mailbox manager or mailbox builder to pull the info from the Octel system.

If you do not have them then you would need to hire someone that does so they can download it for you.

Hiring someone, do you mean like a vendor? I already am a vendor, but I wasn't aware of the the Mailbox Manager product til yesterday. I would consider buying it for the sort capabilities that it has but the Octel has a short life at this customer site. We a replacing it with a Nortel Call Pilot in 30 days, but I would like a way to print out by COS the list of mailboxes and it looks like the Mailbox Manager tool is what I need to do this.

That is fine but the Octel needs to have the feature bit turned on for that.

Or for that matter just do a short form reports and capture it to text from procomm and then import it to excel

We can do the short forms but it doesn't capture the COS, or at least that is what I am told. Thanks for the information. I will get back to you.

You are correct it does not print the COS
