I'm not getting any type of response. What else should I look for?

Are you getting connected to the modem on the Octel?
Make sure it is turned on and plugged in.

I am connecting and staying connected in the modem. I also have ASA, would this be easier to setup access versus Procomm?

It is not Procomm it is the modem. What type of modem do you have connected to the Octel ?

Have you set it up the init string in the modem?

Not the modem, my cinterpart can get in with no issues. Only thing different is that his has scripts that run.

You can use ASA. On the connection I use the following for setup:

Baud Rate - 9600
Data Bite - 7
Parity - even
Stop Bit - 1
Flow Control - Hardware
