Octel 250 lost power. When we got power back the voice mail does not recognize ext calling it. And it takes 3 rings to answer instead of answering on first ring. When you call voice mail from your ext it gives you a greeting instead of asking for password. What do I do?

It sounds like all the programming was lost in the Octel when it lost power. Are the mailboxes still there??

Yes mailboxes are there. I think the acd agents are logged out. Now how do I log them in? Or check to see if they are logged in?

To see if they are logged in, STAT one of the cards that has an ACD agent on it. If the PBX lost power also, the agents will be logged out. The PBX comes back up faster. If that's the case you can log them in manually or reboot the Octel.

Now thinking there is a problem with the dmid. It keeps making a clicking sound. And the leds on the back for channel A and B keep flashing. Turning off and back on does not seem to help.

Hate time and material. Called in a ticket at 8am and still have no response.

If you have a DMID you probably aren't using ACD. Are the two 2616s that are programmed for the DMID enabled?

Yes they are enabled. Reading the lit on the DMID the A and C channel lights should stay lit and not flashing. So there is something going on there but cant put a finger on it.
