I was having a problem at bootup where one of the fans was dead, so the system would not boot up. I replaced the fan, but I noticed that when I go into System Maintenance I get this display

Menu 13 - System Maintenance
Review Current Alarm Status

Cabinet 1 Hardware Alarms:
T - Description Alarm Date Time Location

Hardware Configuration:
+5v Primary

Software Alarms: Disabled Last Clear: 11 OCT 05 12:23:12PM
T - Description Alarm Date Time Count Threshold

I don't know if I remember seeing the +5v Primary display before. Is this indicating an error or just letting me know the configuration?

I have seen this on some systems and as long as you do not have a red light on the panel to the left of the CCF card you are fine. I think that after Avaya outsourced the manufacturing of the Octels to Sanmina they screwed with the software as I have seen 250 system repot that it has a port config of a 350 also. So it is just showing you that it is present but there is not an alarm.

Thanks Ken. There is no red light on the alarm panel, so I will assume everything is OK.
