Octel 100

I have a customer that deinstalled an Octel 100 that was connected to a Merlin Legend. They did not make the users aware of the deinstall and want to connect back to have them get their messages, can it be connected to a POTS line without having to make changes to the Octell 100 set up so they can get their messages?

I have never worked with an octel 100 so any help would be greatly appreciated.

Yes, it can be hooked up to a POTS line. When they call in it should play the generic main greeting.
