Octel 100 Voice mailbox stays in use

Hello,

I have an Octel 100 system. For some reason the voice mailbox will stay in use and will not unlock. Is there a way to unlock this without taking the system down? Any suggestions would be great!

Is your system a VMX-100 or OCTEL-100 (PC-based)?

Is one of the ports hung up that is causing the system to see that mailbox is in use? If that's the case, you might be able to just disable the one port that's hung up and that might release the mailbox. If that doesn't do it, then you will have to reboot. The reboots on that machine only take a couple of minutes. It's not that big of a deal.

Yeah I checked the ports right away and they are not in use have been doing the reboots to get around it. I have also checked the cards and swapped them around to see if they are failing. I have noticed that when someone changes a greeting the automated attendant seems to be a little slugish. Not sure if there's a software issue starting to cause issues or not.
